Subject: Summer Internship

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am passionate about businesses and how they operate and as a sophomore at Cass Business School, I continue to develop my knowledge about business, management and finance. Currently, in my penultimate year of studies, I have been fortunate to study on an exchange program at the Sauder School of Business in Canada, broadening my understanding of international business. I am impressed by the way that PWC advises its clients by helping them building their next competitive advantage and improving their business processes.

I am therefore excited about the possibility of working as an intern in Belgium with PWC to develop a better understanding of your business advisory processes. My business degree has provided me with the ability to conduct independent research, develop my self-motivation and a wide range of business and management skills. I found my finance and accounting courses particularly stimulating and the knowledge I have gained about financial analysis, business processes and accounting methods will be invaluable as an intern at PWC.

In addition to my strong numerical and academic abilities, I consider my main advantages to be my interpersonal and team-working skills. Being very approachable and team-focused, I have always enjoyed working in a team whether while playing field hockey, in a university group project or as a waiter. My proven ability to work with others will help meet the challenges as an intern at PWC.

I am a very entrepreneurial and see myself as an innovative person. It is for that reason that I deem myself to have problem solving and creative-thinking skills which will be very useful in the consulting industry. To gain experience at PWC will allow me to sharpen and broaden my expertise while developing new hard and soft skills. As an intern, my energy, enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will be endless and I am confident I can be an asset to your team and an ideal candidate for an internship at PWC.

I am available for a summer internship from the 16th of May 2016 to the 9th of September 2016. I am very excited to learn about a potential internship opportunity and can be reached by e-mail, phone or by video conference. I look forward to discussing my qualification in more detail.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Yours faithfully,
