      30 to 45 minutes

 

 

 

    • Were there any personal / CV-based questions? If yes, what were they?
      Background, previous experiences, roles and duties at previous experiences.

 

    • Were there any competencies questions? If yes, what were they?
      Talk about Investec Structured Products, main business, main clients, competitors.

 

    • Were there any technical questions? If yes, what were they?
      None

 

    • Any other weird questions we haven’t covered?
      Describe a time it was difficult and you had to collaborate.

 

    • What was the most difficult / unusual question among these? How did you deal with it?
      Collaboration question, I was able to pull a group project mess that we ended up sorting out through communication and acceptance.

 

    • What was the most unexpected thing about this first roundinterview ?
      Questions were very relaxed, they really want to know you instead of what you know.

      Yes
